Margo Ackerman and her husband Jeff have already bought and sold 7 times more homes than the average person does in a lifetime. And they may not be finished yet! Because of Jeff’s career, he trained and practiced as a CPA and physician before becoming a hospital administrator, they have lived in 18 different cities. Margo really knows what’s involved in moving and settling into a new area. Most recently she experienced what is involved in moving to a new country. Further, she knows what a good real estate consultant can bring to the table. She has experienced them all – the good, the bad and the indifferent. There is no school that exists than could have taught Margo more about being a good real estate agent than the school of experience.

Margo’s talent for being able to visualize what something will look like before it is finished, or even before it has started, comes from her career in retailing. She has the uncanny knack of seeing what others don’t and her design and decorating talents are second to none. Margo’s most recent career as an investment advisor brought great insight into money management, long term financial planning, and the valuable ability to judge the merits of a financial project.

In the few years that Margo has been involved with real estate in Costa Rica, she has experienced the good and the bad of Costa Rican real estate. She and Jeff have several real estate investments in Costa Rica and have gone through the experience of building a house there.

Margo is a member of TierraMax, a multiple listing service in Costa Rica, and will operate according to their rules and regulations and code of conduct, which is the very similar to the code of conduct and rules and regulations of the US MLS system.
